Graduate Student Journal Club

Journal club is a group of graduate students and scientists, mostly with space science interests, who meet weekly to study and present current research topics. It is an opportunity for the students to become familiar with ongoing active research, to learn about journal material, and to gain practice in giving talks and interpreting results.

The meeting is on FRIDAY from 12:10 to 1 PM in Room 401 Morse Hall

While historically this Journal Club has focused on Space Science issues, it is certainly open to participation by students from other (or as yet indeterminate) interests; we cover broader topics such as instrumentation, computational techniques, etc. Usually there are student presentations, as well as presentations from the scientists on various methods and techniques they use in their current research.
