SURVEY PLOTS

[Top two panels] Pitch angle vs time of 10 eV ions on the main and sub payloads, for the 0.6 seconds of flight time, representing a cross-B distance of about 600 m. THe two payloads are about 200 m apart at this time. The ion event has a cross-B width of about 130 m. [Lower panel] Wave data for the ten second (10 km) period surrounding this event, showing the intense VLF activity associated with this ion event (and several others). The minima at T+360,365, and 369 are caused by payload spin.
